Spending Time in the Wayback Machine

The pastor of the church that I grew up in is retiring after 31 years at Evangel Assembly of God.  In preparing for the special service and luncheon honoring Paul B. Tinlin, I have been editing some video footage my dad had from the mid 1980’s of Pastor Tinlin.  Talk about a blast from the past!  Part of the footage was from the old PTL Club show, just before the scandal broke.  I’m trying to edit the footage to keep the good stuff, and severely limit any screen time of people we’d just rather not see at this celebration.

Just seeing this footage brings back a lot of memories.

Gotta love Mothers

What a great weekend.  I spent Saturday washing and waxing the 300M.  Gotta love that Mother’s wax and chrome polish.  I had to thoroughly clean the car before I put in it my newly pristine garage.  I’ve got to snap some pictures of both of them before they get trashed.
